At Southbury we are committed to helping our pupils become knowledgeable, independent and positive members of the school, local and global community.

One of the many ways we encourage this is through our whole school Values which are linked closely to our shared British Values.

The key value changes on a half termly basis and is covered daily across the curriculum, through discussion and in assemblies.

They are key to the social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and moral development of the whole child. We encourage children to consider these values, and thereby to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable them to develop as reflective learners and grow to be emotionally intelligent, educated and civilised adults.
